Paddy Pimblett has one last monstrous burger before starting 45lb weight loss and training for UFC London

Now that Paddy Pimblett is confirmed to make his next UFC appearance on the UFC London card on July 23, it’s time to get in shape.

The Liverpudlian has said he has gotten as high as 200lbs since his last UFC fight back in March, also in London.

Pimblett treated the burger like it was his last meal

Given that he fights at 155lbs, it’s not easy to lose around 40lbs with only two months until he steps into the octagon with Jordan Leavitt.

Paddy the Baddy has made no secret of his dietary habits outside of camp and in a recent YouTube video, the 27 year old chose a four-patty cheeseburger as his final meal before training camp gets serious.

“Last time I got the triple and it wasn’t big enough,” said Pimblett.

After participating in his first training camp session ahead of his return to the octagon,  a sweaty Pimblett said: “Get this weight off lad and I’ll be ready to punch anyone’s head in whenever you want me to.

Pimblett acknowledged that some fans call him fat out of camp, but with his shirt off in the video, the lightweight displayed that he clearly isn’t overweight.

But he likes the banter online.

“I don’t look that fat, like, but everyone loves calling me fat on the internet, so we’ll go along with it.”

Pimblett’s UFC career has got off to a flying start with two first-round finishes in his first two fights, the last of which was at the ultra-successful UFC London in March.

He will now fight Leavitt, a Dana White contender series alumni with a 10-1 record who has won three of his first four fights in the UFC.

Whatever happens in that fight though, Pimblett will enjoy his junk food afterwards.

The fan favourite joked: “I’d rather be fat and happy than ripped. These people who are ripped all year round are not happy, I don’t care what they say.

“This six-pack is sound, I look great but I’d rather be fat and happy.”

Truly words to live by.
